Accounting Intern (Paid)

Minimum Experience:

  • Proficient with computers, particularly relating to Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction.
  • Ability to learn quickly, be adaptable, flexible and creative.
  • Attention to details and service oriented.
  • History of ethical performance.
  • Commitment to ten hours per week.

Functional Description:

Concordant LLC is seeking a motivated accounting intern ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist with preparing journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, creating invoices, and assisting the Office Manager with various accounting duties as requested.

Hourly rate will be $20 per hour.

Minimum Education:

Must either be a recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting. Must have completed introductory accounting courses and have a basic understanding of financial principles.

Location: Laramie, WY (Remote)

Acquisition Support – Senior 1

Minimum Experience:

8+ relevant years experience

Functional Description:

  • Provide both pre- and post-award contract management support independently or as part of an acquisition team.
  • Working understanding of FAR, DFARS, and/or FAA AMS and the United Contract Format (UCF).
  • Supports the development of acquisition plans and planning documents including Statement of Work (SOW), Cost Estimates and Solicitation documents.
  • Assist as an advisor to the source selection team.
  • Assist with award and administration of contracts, to include monthly reporting, invoice reconciliation, and other support as requested by the contracting officer or the COR.
  • Provide contractual and financial knowledge and assistance to the program office.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree with curriculum in accounting, business, finance, law contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management

Location: Laramie work location with infrequent travel to Washington DC required

Certifications/Other:

CPCM or CFCM a plus. Previous Government experience including DAWIA Level 1-2, FAC-C Level 1-2,  or other federal government agency issued Level 1-2 contracting professional certification preferred.

The intern will assist with onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, answering employees’ questions and assisting the Chief People Officer with projects and tasks as requested.

Minimum Education:

Must either be a recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree in management of human resources. Must have completed introductory human resources and business courses and have a functional proficiency in HR and business principles.
