As an IT Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining security architectures, protocols, and controls. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and technical tasks.

  • Designing and defining architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access involved in system security.
  • Applying encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.
  • Executing security controls to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive company information and safeguarding data integrity.
  • Researching and analyzing attempted security breaches and efforts to compromise security protocols.
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations to enhance application design and overall security posture.
  • Evaluating, creating, and implementing solutions to strengthen security controls to protect the systems and data maintained in development, testing and production environments.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT security architectures, protocols, and controls. In-depth knowledge of security technologies, encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in applying encryption technology, as well as knowledge of various security technologies and tools used for penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and threat detection.
  • Experience in executing security controls to prevent unauthorized access, including user authentication, authorization mechanisms, and data access restrictions.
  • Understanding of incident response procedures, including the ability to research and analyze attempted security breaches, compromise attempts, and security protocol vulnerabilities.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, identify security vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations to enhance application design and overall security posture.
