functional description

As a Graphic Artist, you will be responsible for managing design and desktop publishing projects from concept to delivery.

  • Developing and creating visual concepts and ideas that effectively communicate messages to internal and external audiences.
  • Managing graphic standards and brand identity to ensure a consistent and cohesive visual representation.
  • Develops and executes various design projects for internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrating a high level of expertise in estimating time and resources required for graphics-related projects.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of desktop tools and software applications to facilitate the design process.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver cohesive corporate messages across various communication materials.

Requirements:

  • Strong artistic and creative skills with the ability to conceptualize and develop visual concepts that effectively communicate messages to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
  • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of design principles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, understanding design requirements, and explaining design concepts.
  • Ability to manage design projects from concept to delivery, estimating time and resources required, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of graphic standards and brand identity principles to ensure consistent and cohesive visual representation across various materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail when creating, editing, and finalizing design assets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design standards.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a graphic artist, graphic designer, or in a related role with a focus on creating visual communication materials.
  • Familiarity with visual communication techniques, including layout design, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Proficiency in multimedia design, including video editing, animation, and interactive design, would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and specifications, including preparing files for print and collaborating with print vendors.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external clients to understand design needs, gather feedback, and deliver design solutions that meet objectives.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing design trends, software updates, and emerging design technologies.
