functional description
As an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for IT infrastructure system engineering, defining IT infrastructure system needs, and implementation of IT infrastructure system installations. Includes performance analysis, maintainability analysis, capacity analysis, reliability analysis.
- Formulating contingency plans and anomaly resolution plans for IT infrastructure.
- Forecasts IT infrastructure system needs and works with other information systems areas to develop policies and procedures to resolve more complex technical problems.

Requirements:
- Strong technical proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT infrastructure solutions. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to formulate contingency plans, resolve anomalies, and address complex technical challenges.
- Proven ability to lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, including defining requirements, developing policies and procedures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting technical processes, collaborating with other information systems areas, and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in forecasting IT infrastructure system needs, conducting capacity planning, and ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
- Understanding of reliability engineering principles and methodologies to ensure high availability and reliability of IT infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in formulating contingency plans and resolution strategies to mitigate risks and respond to infrastructure-related anomalies.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience as an IT infrastructure engineer, systems engineer, or in a related role with a focus on designing and implementing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
- Relevant certifications.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices for securing IT infrastructure systems.
- Experience working with technology vendors, evaluating solutions, and managing vendor relationships.
