functional description
- Configure and maintain F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) supporting multi-tier applications
- Perform system management, upgrades, patching, configuration management
- Management servers, pools, pool members, nodes, profiles and monitors
- Configure certificate management, SSL termination, offloads and re-encryption
- Experience with Traffic Management Operating System (TMOS) and TMSH
- Configure BIG-IP systems self IPs, VLANs, Source Network Address Translation (SNAT)
- Experience with web proxy, Network Time Protocol (NTP), Domain Name Systems (DNS)
- F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator preferred
- Configure and maintain F5 Local Global Manager (GTM)
- Configure monitoring and failover, policies, traffic management, DNS load balancing
- Provide administration to support DNS routing between enterprise locations
- Develop testing plans and document results
- Domain Name Systems (DNS) Administrator
- Create zones, configure forwarding and replication
- Integrate BigIP GTM, Infoblox, and Windows DNS systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve DNS incidents and problems
- Serve as the organization focal point for DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- Riverbed Performance Management Administrator
- Manage Riverbed NetIM, NetProfiler, Flow Gateway, and Portal
- Configure SNMP management, traps, and alert profiles
- Manage Profiler traffic analysis systems
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports
- Administer systems and perform upgrades, backup, and patching
