Concordant will take on the prime role in enhancing the capabilities of the Office of Acquisitions workforce at the renowned National Cancer Institute (NCI), a critical component of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Concordant will deliver a series of comprehensive full-day courses each month, meticulously tailored to the needs of NCI personnel, including Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Purchasing Agents, Contract Specialists, and Administrative Officers. These dynamic training sessions will be conducted virtually through Concordant’s cutting-edge training delivery platform, complemented by immersive breakout sessions designed to elevate the effectiveness of learning and engagement.

Concordant’s proprietary curriculum leverages its extensive experience in Federal Acquisition training to offer NCI professionals the opportunity to maintain their Federal Acquisition Certifications in Contracting (FAC-C). The robust training agenda encompasses key topics, such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) overview, acquisition planning and strategy development, contract types and applications, source selection methods, contract administration, ethics and compliance, small business utilization, subcontracting, contract modifications, and contract closeout procedures.
