Concordant provides acquisition support across multiple federal agencies, including FAA, VA, and DoS. For example, at the FAA, Concordant provides cradle-to-grave acquisition and program management support to the Federal Aviation Administration's Air Traffic Organization under the Program Support Services (PSS) and PSS II contracts. Supporting one of the FAA's largest acquisition portfolios, Concordant retained this work through a competitive recompete and continues to serve as a trusted extension of the Government acquisition team supporting a $1 billion+ multiple-award contract vehicle.

Concordant delivers comprehensive acquisition support across the entire contract lifecycle, partnering daily with Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), Program Managers, and financial personnel. Our team supports acquisition planning, market research, solicitation development, proposal evaluations, contract awards, contract modifications, funding actions, invoice validation, contractor performance monitoring, financial forecasting, executive reporting, and contract closeout activities. Beyond traditional acquisition support, Concordant modernized program operations by automating contract execution workflows, including Travel and Other Direct Cost (ODC) request processes, improving efficiency, visibility, and administrative consistency across the program. Throughout performance, Concordant has functioned as an integrated member of the FAA Program Management Office, providing the continuity and acquisition expertise necessary to manage a large, complex portfolio of task orders.
Results
Concordant has supported the successful administration of one of the FAA's largest acquisition programs while helping Government personnel manage a high-volume portfolio of contract actions with improved visibility, financial oversight, and operational efficiency. Our performance was validated when the FAA selected Concordant to continue supporting the program during the PSS II recompete, demonstrating the Government's confidence in our people, processes, and long-term partnership. NCI Acquisition Training
Concordant served as the prime contractor for the National Cancer Institute (NCI), delivering professional development and acquisition training to strengthen NCI's federal acquisition community, with a focus on its acquisition workforce (contracting officers, purchasing agents, and contract specialists) and its program staff (contracting officer's representatives and administrative officers). The purpose was to build FAR-based knowledge and practical skills that participants could apply immediately across NCI's contracting organizations.
Work delivered
Concordant delivered 24 full-day (8-hour) instructor-led training courses over a 12-month base period, with an option awarded for an additional 12 months. Sessions were held twice monthly, alternating between the acquisition workforce and program staff, and conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams with accommodations up to 120 participants per session. The curriculum spanned a comprehensive range of topics, including FAR overview, acquisition planning, contract types, source selection methods, contract administration, ethics, small business utilization, contract modifications, risk management in acquisitions, cybersecurity, supply chain, and agile contracting. Concordant provided all course materials, submitted monthly activity reports, issued Continuous Learning Point (CLP) certificates to attendees, and ensured compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards under a firm-fixed-price purchase order.
Results
Participant feedback was consistently positive across the two-year contract. All contract deliverables were submitted electronically. The program successfully equipped NCI's acquisition workforce and program staff with practical, FAR-based skills, and its strong reception is reflected in the government's exercise of the follow-on option period.
FAA Enterprise Cybersecurity Support
Concordant provides enterprise cybersecurity support to the Federal Aviation Administration, serving as the prime contractor responsible for Risk Management Framework (RMF) operations, cybersecurity engineering, and independent security assessments supporting mission-critical FAA systems. Our team protects five operational systems and the FAA's Top Secret network by maintaining continuous authorization readiness, engineering modern security capabilities, and performing comprehensive NIST-based security assessments.

Concordant serves as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) for multiple FAA systems, executing the full RMF lifecycle from system categorization and security documentation through continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, remediation coordination, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) support. In parallel, our engineers design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity technologies, including ArcSight SIEM, Nessus, CyberArk privileged access management, ClearPass Network Access Control (NAC), Zero Trust capabilities, and cloud security controls, to strengthen operational security and modernize the FAA's cybersecurity architecture. Concordant also performs independent security assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A, conducting technical testing, control validation, vulnerability analysis, and developing Security Assessment Plans (SAPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), Risk Analysis Reports (RARs), POA&Ms, and executive ATO packages supporting Authorizing Official decisions.
Results
Concordant has successfully maintained authorization readiness across mission-critical FAA systems while enabling secure modernization of operational and Top Secret environments. Our team achieved a 100% Authorization to Operate (ATO) success rate for every FAA system prepared for assessment, led the successful transition from NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 4 to Rev. 5 by identifying and coordinating remediation of more than 200 security gaps, and implemented Zero Trust-aligned cybersecurity capabilities that strengthened the security posture of systems supporting the National Airspace System. Through this engagement, Concordant has demonstrated its ability to integrate cybersecurity operations, engineering, and independent assessments into a single operational support model that improves security, reduces risk, and enables mission continuity.
